WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BE OUT or TO BE AN ALLY?
It’s important for me to be out so that those who are not know they are not alone.
WHY ARE YOU “PROUD”? WHAT ARE YOU MOST “PROUD” OF?
I’m proud of who I am and how far I have come during my time at OU.
WHAT WAS THE MOST DIFFICULT PART OF COMING OUT?
Not knowing if people will accept you for who you really are.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHERS WHO COME OUT?
It’s a long and sometimes difficult process, but being able to know yourself for who you really are and allowing others to know that person makes it worth the journey.
