WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BE OUT or TO BE AN ALLY?
As an American citizen who lives under a constitution which guarantees the natural rights, freedoms, and liberties of all people, I believe it is my duty as a citizen and my privilege as a neighbor to be an advocate for social justice, to do my part to help create a more free, more perfect union where all people receive the same rights and opportunities. As an Ally, I understand I have a special opportunity to, through my actions and my speech, to serve others and to advance this vision. Although the training is never complete, I am proud to be an Ally.
