WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BE AN ALLY?
I think it is important to be an Ally so that I am able to support and be a "safe" person for someone who is trying to come out. I think of it as a way of helping others and making the world a safer place for everyone.
WHY ARE YOU “PROUD”? WHAT ARE YOU MOST “PROUD” OF?
I am proud to know several wonderful out people who have taught me so much and I continue to learn from every day.
THOUGHTS FOR NON-LGBT PEOPLE ABOUT LGBT PEOPLE AND CONCERNS:
Don't be afraid to get as much information you can about LGBT people and about being an Ally. Knowledge is power!
