INVOLVEMENTS AT OU:
I am faculty advisor to Ohio University Council of Teachers of Mathematics. I research Mathematics Education issues, especially related to rural contexts. I teach undergraduate and graduate level mathematics and education courses. Additionally, I work on advising, retention, and high school transition issues for the University.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BE AN ALLY?
The University community quickly falls apart if we don't work actively to welcome everyone and to recognize differences as strengths.
