WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BE AN ALLY? It is so important to be an Ally because the message of support becomes a lot clearer when those who don't have to be a part of a struggle choose to take on the struggle alongside those who don't have a choice. Plus, I don't understand why one would not want to be an Ally because I see people being treated wrongly for doing nothing wrong, and by fighting for their rights I'm fighting for all humans' rights.
WHY ARE YOU “PROUD”? WHAT ARE YOU MOST “PROUD” OF? I'm proud to go beyond just tolerating who people are and instead appreciating who they are and advocating for their rights.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHERS WHO COME OUT? Do it confidently and know that there is support available during the difficult times.
THOUGHTS FOR NON-LGBT PEOPLE ABOUT LGBT PEOPLE AND CONCERNS: What are you worried about? We all have things about us that are different from other people. If we allowed ourselves to deny all of those differences, then we would never have progressed to the point where we are today, and if we do it now we'll fail to progress in the future.
