WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BE OUT?
I believe in the old saying that if you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything. In my life, whenever I remained silent I soon regretted making such decisions, and I feel this is my time to speak. Being gay is not new, nor is it a fad. It has a long, rich, and diverse history in which I am proud to be fully immersed.

WHY ARE YOU “PROUD”?  WHAT ARE YOU MOST “PROUD” OF?
I am proud to be Gay because it simply makes me happy, and as long as it feels this way I will continue to fight. I am most proud of my dedication to equality and constant change, in both my personal and public life.

WHAT WAS THE MOST DIFFICULT PART OF COMING OUT?
Sometimes I think people look at me as that Gay guy, when I am more than that.  But the crazy thing about it all is that I have grown to embrace the difference that lies in me.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHERS WHO COME OUT?
People will judge you no matter what you do, say, and behave, so make decisions that will better you and the world.  Block out the negative world and embrace the positive one.

THOUGHTS FOR NON-LGBT PEOPLE ABOUT LGBT PEOPLE AND CONCERNS:
I don’t think all people are Gay and that all non-LGBT people are evil. In fact, I think they make me stronger and better everyday because of who they are.
