WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BE AN ALLY?
For me it is just about supporting people that I love.  Whether they are here at OU or somewhere else I feel very strongly about the equal treatment of everyone, whatever their sexual orientation may be.

WHY ARE YOU “PROUD”?  WHAT ARE YOU MOST “PROUD” OF?
I am "proud" to have had the opportunity to be around people who have taught me to be true to myself.  They do not even realize they have taught me this, but just by them being "proud" of their sexual orientation, I have realized that the only way to be happy is to be true to yourself.

THOUGHTS FOR NON-LGBT PEOPLE ABOUT LGBT PEOPLE AND CONCERNS:
LGBT people may not be like you in terms of their sexuality, but they are still people, and more importantly they are the most open-minded people I have ever met.
