Tiffany Hill-Smith joined the Ohio University Office of Legal Affairs in August, 2006 as Assistant to the Director of Legal Affairs. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and earned her J. D. and Bachelor of Civil Law degrees from Louisiana State University.
Prior to joining the Office of Legal Affairs, she worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Nevada and later as an attorney in a small law firm specializing in commercial real estate transactions. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and is also involved in Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA), the Ohio University’s Women’s Club and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Tiffany is originally from Louisiana and relocated to Athens from Auburn, Alabama when her husband accepted the position of Vice President for Student Affairs at Ohio University. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with the family’s newest addition- Tyler.
Tiffany will be taking the Ohio Bar in July of 2007.
