- Prepare graduates to enter and progress in the practice and principles of Civil Engineering
- Provide students with a broad education in Civil Engineering
- Expose students to technologies and tools necessary for the Civil Engineering profession
- Ensure faculty are qualified to teach and advise Civil Engineering students

- Expose students to state-of-the-art and state-of-the-practice
facilities/equipment.
- Assure faculty maintain competency to advise and teach
CE students by performing research, staying active in professional/technical
organizations, and interacting with the Civil Engineering industry.
