Incoming First Year Students

In order to apply on-line, you must use your OHIO log-in information, supplied to you by Ohio University. Applications are accepted online February 1 through May 15, 2013.

Please, students only should complete the application process.

In the past, some parents completed the learning community application instead of the students.  This caused confusion that would have been avoided if the student had applied.

To be assured of your application being processed accurately and your being enrolled in the appropriate learning community, you must return the housing deposit and contract (or housing exemption form) by May 15, 2013.

An information session and registration for the general LC programs will take place during Orientation.
Registration options for the college-based communities will be contingent on acceptance into the specific academic programs.

If you have a specific academic need, such as PSEOP credit(s), AP credit(s), transfer credit(s), or are registered with Institutional Equity and have concerns you would like us to meet, feel free to e-mail the Director of Learning Communities.

Your next step for being a student at Ohio University is to respond to the Bobcat Student Orientation invitation in mid-May.
