Hours of Operation
The OU-L KIDS Daycare Center is provided for children of OU-L students, faculty, staff and administrators. Children must be 18 months old to be scheduled in the center. The center is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays when classes are in session. We are not open Saturdays, Sundays, during the summer or during any breaks. If OU-L is closed, so is OU-L KIDS.
Registration
Before a child may start at the center, the parent must fill out the required enrollment packet. Parents can find this packet outside the daycare or in Student Services. This packet includes a medical form that must be completed by a doctor, and a new medical statement is needed every 12 months. The form states that the child has had all of the state-required immunizations and has had a physical within the past year. Also in the packet is a form with the requested daycare schedule for the child. A new scheduling form must be completed each quarter because classes change each quarter. Please remember that scheduling is on a first-come first-served every quarter and so it is advisable to turn in your form as soon as you know your schedule for the new quarter. Just because your child attended the previous quarter does not guarantee him/her a space the next quarter. To drop a child from the center, please notify the administrator. Hours may be added or dropped until the end of the second week of the quarter. After the second week, billing is done and the parent is responsible to pay for all hours scheduled for the child. The center will keep the child's file in the office for one year after disenrollment. After that one year, if you wish to re-enroll your child, you must fill out new paperwork.

Billing
The cost of childcare is $2.50 per hour for the first child in the family and $1.50 per hour per child for any additional children in your family. Billing is completed and added to your student account. Your academic account will be frozen in the event of an unpaid bill. This means that you will be unable to register for future quarters. If the bill remains unpaid, your information will be turned over to the Attorney General.
