CAST RESPONSIBILITIES

As a cast member, you are expected to participate in events that promote the show:  radio interviews, parades, festival events, and many more activities.  Not everyone will be needed at all events.  A one-time costume rental fee of $30 for each cast member for use of production costumes.  Cast members will be responsible to sell production T-shirts and sell advertising in our Playbill.  Some costumes must be provided by the actor.  Actors are responsible for providing their own make-up.  The personal props used in the production must also be provided by the actor.

AUDITON POLICY

OUL has an open audition policy.  We are always looking for new talents and are excited to welcome new actors, singers, dancers and crew members.  Ohio University Lancaster Theatre is a teaching theatre company where the growth and interest of our students comes first!

If you are not cast, we encourage you to participate in one of our production crews.  You can help out with costumes, props, set construction, ushering, box office, publicity, or many other aspects of putting on this major musical production.

CAST GUIDELINES

All cast members must abide by the rules and regulations established by Ohio University Lancaster.  Cast and crew members will be asked to sign a photo release, a confidentiality agreement, and a morality clause.

THE CAST SING/READ THROUGH IS SATURDAY, APRIL 19, 2014, 11:45 AM - 2:15 PM.  You will be measured for your costumes at that time.  Please bring your character/dress shoes to that rehearsal.
