Finals week is quickly approaching and many students at Ohio University Lancaster | Pickerington can already feel the stress building up in the muscles of their shoulders and backs. That's why the Ohio University Alumni Association is sending a massage therapist to campus during finals week to give students free massages.
"This is a wonderful thing the Ohio University Alumni Association is doing to help our students during finals week," said Lancaster Campus Development Director Mandi Custer. "We love to see Bobcats supporting Bobcats during finals week."
Natural Remedies Massage of Lancaster will be on campus December 10 and 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will be set up in the North Lobby of Brasee Hall.
"This is a free service for all of our students," said Custer. "They can come in a little early beforetheir tests, and get a back massage, so they go into their exam feeling refreshed and ready to go."
This is the first year the Ohio University Alumni Association is offering this service on the regional campuses. The Alumni Association is sponsoring more activities and events on the regional campuses because they want regional campus students to know that they are a part of the OHIO Alumni Association family when they graduate.
"Bobcats are Bobcats whether they are a student on the Lancaster Campus or are a student on the Athens Campus," said Custer. "The Alumni Association wants students to know that the same services are available to students on any OHIO campus."
