The Testing Center for Ohio University Lancaster Campus proctors exams for students with documented disabilities; students taking online/blended classes, make-up exams, individual placement exams (to register for group placement exams call (740) 654-6711 X215 or 1 (888) 446-4468 if you reside outside Fairfield County); or students taking classes from other colleges.   All testing is done individually; no full classes are proctored.  The first priority of the OUL Testing Center is to provide a secure environment for students to complete proctored exams.  The OUL center offers 21 desks for students completing computer-based or written exams.  Students should review Student Guidelines and should consult with their instructor concerning materials permitted during the exam, such as books, notes, calculators, etc. and the deadline for completing the exam.

We appreciate appointments 48 hours in advance; however, walk-ins are welcome if seats are available.  Please refer to our Hours of Operation as they do change between quarters and for summer.  There are no charges to Ohio University students completing proctored exams.  For non-OU students, there is a $10 fee for each proctored exam.

We are dedicated to upholding high standards of security and academic integrity.  We continuously evaluate our procedures and seek ways to improve the security and efficiency of our center.

We also offer CLEP (College Level Examination Program) at an administrative fee of $15 (plus the CLEP fee paid directly to them of $77; Note: Effective 7/1/12, CLEP will be raising their fee to $80) and MAT (Miller Analogies Test) at a fee of $65 to those interested.
