Interim OUL Community and Corporate Learning Director Ron Cullums is writing a monthly blog for the OUL website. The blog will discuss business, industry and management topics in Fairfield County.
Sarah Rupp is one of the Ohio University Lancaster | Pickerington Students of the Month for October. She is an academic leader in OUL biology courses, a student in the Mt. Caramel College of Nursing program, and a tutor for Anatomy 1 & 2 and Microbiology. Sarah is also a volunteer babysitter for families in need of childcare assistance.
Jeremy Lindsey is one of the Ohio University Lancaster | Pickerington Students of the Month for October. Lindsey is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, president of Alpha Phi Omega, and a volunteer for OUL athletics and development activities. He also volunteers for Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Fairfield Area Humane Society.
Ohio University Lancaster Assistant Professor of History Ping-Yuan Wang had her second book chapter come out in September: “Neither ex officio nor ex gratia: The Brussels Visitandines’ Discourses of Authority and Collective Identity,” in Mulieres Religiosae: Shaping Female Spiritual Authority in the Medieval and Early Modern Periods, eds. Veerle Fraeters and Imke de Gier. Turnhout, Belgium: Brepols, 2014: 265-285. In October, she presented a paper on a panel at the Sixteenth Century Studies Conference in New Orleans.
Lecturer of Law Enforcement Technology Lisa Taylor is attending the Ohio Attorney General's Law Enforcement Conference in Columbus. The conference will highlight crimes that often target senior citizens, children and emerging trends in law enforcement.
