Lancaster Campus

Welcome to the Ohio University Lancaster Campus. Ohio University Lancaster offers the academic foundation of a request more infouniversity education, the convenience of a small campus setting, the affordability of state-assisted tuition, and relevant education for today's competitive job market. We also provide convenience throughout Fairfield County by offering students the option to attend classes on the Lancaster Campus or Pickerington Center. Situated on 113 acres on the northern edge of Lancaster, the campus serves students from throughout central Ohio. A variety of associate's and bachelor's degree programs can be completed on the Lancaster Campus. Ohio University also offers more than 250 majors, which you can begin in Lancaster or Pickerington and finish in Athens, at another regional campus or online.



Congratulations to Ohio University Lancaster Lecturer of Communication Studies Dr. Pamela Kaylor.  Kaylor was selected to receive an International Women’s Day Recognition Award during the 2015 International Women’s Day Columbus Celebration. Kaylor was nominated in the education category.


Nick Crate

Nicholas Crate is one of the Ohio University Lancaster | Pickerington Students of the Month for March. Nick is the Secretary and Webmaster for the Experimental Aircraft Association's Vintage Chapter 22.  He is also the Systems Administrator at Fisher Catholic High School and is a student worker in the OUL Library.

Paul Young

Dr. Paul Young, lecturer of music and education classes, will present a leadership workshop for the National AfterSchool Association in Washington D.C. Dr. Young retired as the NAA President & CEO in 2012. His presentation title “Got Grit? Ingredients for Student Success” is geared to both school and afterschool program leaders and will reflect material from his latest book, Lead the Way! 24 Lessons in Leadership for After School Program Directors published by Gryphon House.

Elizabeth Ward

Elizabeth Ward is one of the Ohio University Lancaster | Pickerington Students of the Month for March. Ward is a Criminal Justice major.  She is a volunteer at Cedar Heights Elementary School.  Ward also volunteers for Take Back Our Streets in Lancaster.  She has two daughters.


Business Management Technology Associate Professor Alan Middleton is attending the MBAA International Annual Conference in Chicago.  He will be networking with colleagues from a range of disciplines.

Mark Nevin

Dr. Mark Nevin, assistant professor of history, is presenting a paper called "Polling Matters: Public Opinion Polling, Pollsters, and the 1968 Presidential Election" at the "Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association National Conference."
