2012 Summer Program
Kids on Campus Goes for the Gold: Summer Camp 2012
Kids on Campus is happy to extend our afterschool program into a 5-week summer program held on the campus of Ohio University. The program will provide students with a variety of experiences designed to help better prepare them for the upcoming school year. Learning tracks will include swimming, cyber safety, reading lab, recreation, gardening and cooking, and green time. As a USDA Summer Food Service Program site, we will provide breakfast, lunch and snack to all participants. We will have special events most Fridays, and like to work with community agencies, community members and other who provide programming to children.
Where: Ohio University Athens Campus
Who: Students who attend Alexander, Athens City, Federal Hocking or Trimble Local Schools. First priority will be given to students who have a documented economic need, followed by students with an identified academic need as available slots allow.
When: Monday through Friday, June 18th through July 20th. (No program on Wednesday, July 4th).
Time: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Transportation will be provided as available!
