2013 Summer Program
Kids on Campus will offer a 4-week summer camp at Ohio University!
Where: Ohio University Athens Campus
Who: Students who will enter 1st through 12th grades in August, 2013. Only students who attend Alexander, Athens City, Federal Hocking, or Trimble Local Schools in Athens County, or Southern Local in Perry County are eligible. Priority is given to students who receive free or reduced priced school lunch or have a documented academic need. We accept applications from all children in qualifying school districts.
When: Monday through Friday, July 8th through August 2, 2013.
Time: 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
Cost: FREE to students!

Welcome to the Kids on Campus
Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO) Program!
Kids on Campus Mission:
Kids on Campus, a rural community-university partnership empowers underserved, at-risk children and their families in the realization of their full potential through educational, nutritional, and recreational, opportunities.
Our goal is to provide quality before and afterschool programming for children within our partner school districts. Each day, children are offered reading/math intervention, homework assistance, enrichment activities, physical activity, and a nutritious snack.
Our 2012-2013 before and afterschool programs:

Federal Hocking Middle/High School - for students in 7th - 10th grades.
Amesville Elementary - for students in 1st - 6th grades.
Coolville Elementary - for students in 1st - 6th grades.
Souther Local Schools, Perry County - for students K - 12th.
Trimble Elementary - for student in 1st - 4th grades.
Enrollment
Kids on Campus is grant funded to meet the needs of children whom are economically or academically at-risk. Enrollment in this free program is therefore targeted toward children with a need for intervention and/or those whom qualify for free/reduced priced school lunches.
Children are enrolled in the Kids on Campus Program only after the child’s application and all other required information have been received and processed by the program.
We are no longer accepting applications for 2012-2013 afterschool programs.
