The Charles J. Ping International Student Leadership Award Application
International Student and Faculty Services created this award in 2010 to recognize outstanding leadership by an international student enrolled in Ohio University. This award is named for President Emeritus Charles J. Ping, president of Ohio University from 1975-1994, to honor his support for international education and exchange. President Emeritus Ping's leadership resulted in the expansion of international education at Ohio University.
General criteria for the award:
Members of the Ohio University community are encouraged to nominate students for this award. Eligible students may also nominate themselves. A completed application consists of a completed form, a statement by the nominator of no more than 1000 words that answers the prompt on the form, and two letters of support. No more than one letter of support can be written by a current OHIO student. All materials, including the letters of support, must be submitted together by Wednesday, February 18 2015, by 5:00 pm. You can submit the materials to the International Student and Faculty Services office in the Walter International Education Center at 15 Park Place in Athens or you can email your application materials to firstname.lastname@example.org.
