On behalf of the faculty and staff, welcome to Ohio University. We are looking forward to meeting you when you arrive in Athens. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about arrival in Athens or Orientation.

All new students must complete immigration registration with ISFS during orientation or immediately after arrival for any late arrivals. Please see the orientation dates above for upcoming programs. You must bring your passport, I-94, and your I-20 or DS-2019 with you to the office. If you have brought family members with you, you must also bring their documents with you when you come to complete immigration registration.
Temporary housing is available for Summer 2014 orientation in May. Reservations are required. Contact Residential Housing. Go to http://www.facilities.ohiou.edu/housing/rs/index.html or email email@example.com for more information or to make a reservation. If temporary housing is not available for any reason, we suggest that you contact the OU Inn - 866-593-6661. Let them know that you are a new student. If there are no rooms available at the OU Inn, there are several other hotels in town that you can contact. A list of hotels is available from the Athens County Convention and Visitor's Bureau.
Temporary housing for Fall 2014 is not known yet. We will update the website as soon as we have more details. Reservations for temporary housing typically open 1 month prior to arrival dates.
A few students have not yet received the I-20 or DS-2019. That is usually because the Admissions Office needs further documentation from you. Please take care of the missing papers and wait to receive your I-20 or DS-2019 before trying to come to Ohio University.
Things to Remember:
