Southeast Habitat for Humanity O.U. Move Out Donation Drive 5/1-5/3
Athens Habitat for Humanity is putting on a O.U. Move-Out Donation Drive. Thurs-Sat, May 1st-3rd – 9am-1pm or 1pm-5pm. The ReStore will be setting up 5 booths around town as drop-off stations for move out donations. We need many, many, many volunteers for both morning and afternoon shifts. Please call either Amber (592-0032 ext. 102) or Molly (592-0032 ext. 106)  to schedule your volunteer shift!

COMMODITY FOOD BOX PACKING EVENT 5/3 
Saturday, May 3rd the SE Ohio Foodbank will be holding a Commodity Supplemental Food Box packing event. Volunteers are needed from  9:00 to noon.  Our goal is to pack 2000 commodity supplemental food boxes during that time. Athens High School Track Meet Volunteers Needed 5/7 

Please join our local high school athletes in a dynamic volunteer setting at Athens High School. Our kids needs assistance with track and field events at our home meets. Duties might include re-setting pole vault, hurdles, and other equipment, use of measuring tape or stop watch, grooming sand for jumping events, and etc.

St. Jude Volunteers Needed for 2014 Ohio Warrior Dash 5/31/14
On behalf of St. Jude is an upcoming volunteer opportunity. The event is May 31st in Millfield and we are looking for volunteers to help run the St. Jude tent.  The tent is a special perk for runners who choose to run and raise money for St. Jude during  the Warrior Dash. Chesterhill Produce Auction May 5-October 23 
The Chesterhill Produce Auction has weekly opportunities for volunteers during the growing season. The auction takes place on Mondays and Thursdays - the auction begins at 4:00 pm and lasts about 2 hours or until all produce is sold. The first auction this year will be on May 5 and the last will be October 23.
 
The auction is located at 8380 Wagoner Road in Chesterhill, Ohio.  At the auction, volunteers help customers check out, assist growers unloading produce, help during the auction in both the office and floor, and can even help tend the large garden on-site. There are lots of choices!
Volunteers always leave positive feedback about their experiences and often come home with some fresh produce, too! Volunteers can volunteers as few or as often as they would like - from one or two times over the season to a regular weekly volunteer position - we're flexible!

HAVAR, Inc. is seeking volunteers who are interested in working with adults with disabilities as a program activity leader for their day program. Developmental Disability training will be provided. Putt People First is offering 2-4 hour volunteer shifts with or without Havar consumers. Hours available are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 4pm to 8pm. And Saturday and Sunday noon to 8pm.The golf course provides part time remunerative employment for people who have developmental disabilities, and who need partners at the job site to assist with tasks that include the following skills; equipment rental, customer relations, light janitorial and grounds keeping, minor maintenance of course decorations / obstacles, records keeping.
