A.G.E.S.

An undergraduate club where students will be involved in volunteer work in local nursing homes and hospice centers. These opportunities will pertain to the interactions with the elderly community.

 Colleges Against Cancer

We are an organization that promotes awareness of cancer on campus. We include committees of advocacy, cancer education, survivorship, and Relay For Life.

 Community Service Leadership Council:

CSLC organizes a volunteer opportunity every Saturday called our Project of the Week. CSLC provides the opportunity for other student organizations to access money through our SCORE grant to help with their own volunteer projects.

 Four-Play! Quad Rugby

Host a community service fundraiser event for the Buckeye Blitz Quadriplegic Rugby Team. Raises awareness within the Athens community about wheelchair sports. Provides members with spinal cord injury population interaction as well as event planning.

Habitat for Humanity at Ohio University works to create future leaders who spread social awareness across the community by volunteering with Athens County Habitat for Humanity to help eliminate substandard housing.

A charity organization that is based on the philanthropic work of Lady Gaga. We raise funds for charities endorsed by Lady Gaga and hold charity events with a GaGa twist!

 Student Council for Exceptional Children (SCEC)

Each quarter, SCEC members complete a total of 10 volunteer hours (8 volunteer and 2 fundraiser). SCEC members will be expected to pay one annual fee of $20. SCEC is extremely dedicated to volunteering in the Athens community in various ways.
