Graduation Rates

These tables show four-, five-, and six-year graduation rates for first-time, full-time, and first-year students entering the Athens campus as degree-seeking undergraduates.  Students are counted in each major college according to the last major in which they enrolled (or graduated) because of the possibility that students can change majors over the course of four, five, or six years.  For example, a student entering as a first-year student in the fall with a major in the College of Business and graduating with a major in Business is counted in Business in the cohort and as a graduating student.  A student entering as a first-year student in Business in the fall who changed his/her major to the College of Communication and graduated with a major in Communication is counted in Communication in the cohort and as a graduating student.  A student entering as a first-year student in Business in the fall who changed his/her major to Communication in the second year but does not graduate is counted in Communication in the cohort and as a non-graduating student.

The 1988 to 2007 studies track students over six years.  The 2007, 2008, and 2009 cohorts are tracked through summer 2013.  The 2008 study tracks students up to five years, and the 2009 study tracks students up to four years.
