Educational Activities
As part of the lab’s mission, educational activities include workshops, presentations at national and international conferences and symposiums, and the annual Automatic Identification and Data Capture Technical Institute (AIDCTI). Workshops can be contracted, as well held by the lab, as is the case with the RFID Workshop. Presentations occur on a reviewed-submission and invitation basis.
Lab staff also teach the Department of Industrial Technology’s automatic identification course, IT 354. An RFID class will be offered for the first time in spring 2006 by Todd Myers.
