Program Information

The Engineering Management master’s degree can be completed full-time on the Athens campus or part-time through classes delivered via live interactive video to Ohio University regional campuses or other designated sites. Interactive video classes are typically delivered one night a week (usually Monday) and Saturday mornings. Where feasible, faculty will occasionally deliver classes at the off-site location throughout the course.

Ohio University conducts classes on academic quarters, which are shorter than semesters and allow for more topics to be covered. Full-time students should expect to enroll in four classes per quarter and can reasonably complete their requirements in five quarters (one year plus one academic quarter). Part-time students should expect to enroll in two courses each academic quarter, summer excluded, and study for a little more than two years.
