Notice to Students Who Have Previous Credit from Ohio University
The Independent and
Distance Learning Programs have adopted a new student records system that is fully integrated with Ohio University's comprehensive records system. If you have earned credit for any course at Ohio University in the past, you must use the same name when enrolling that you used for previous enrollments. This ensures that your transcript accurately reflects all courses for which you have received
credit.
If you wish your new enrollments to appear under a different name (for example, you are now married and wish to use your married name rather than your maiden name), you must file a name change request directly with the office of the Registrar at 740-593-4182. IDLP cannot make the name change for you.
