ORDERING THE TEXTBOOK

NOTE: this textbook is not needed until Lesson Three and you can wait until then to order it

The eBook version of Andrea Lunsford's The Everyday Writer is less expensive than the printed version, available immediately, and accessible wherever you are connected to the internet.  For an online course, an eBook is ideal.

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER VIA AN ONLINE BOOKSTORE -- the eBook comes directly from the publisher

The eBook will require a credit card number (the charge is around $30).  Note that the payment is non-refundable.  If you experience any difficulties during the ordering, please contact the publisher directly.  Contact information is easy to see, and the phone support has proven to be dependable.

• Go to Everyday Writer, 4th edition
   
• Click on "PURCHASE access online"
   
• Choose "e-Book: 1 year access $28.95" (not "Re:Writing Plus") and "CHECK OUT NOW", then provide an email address and password
   
• If you are having any difficulty signing up, contact the publisher directly.  The many variations in computer settings prevent me from effectively helping you myself.

2. Confirm your access

• Return to Home if you are not already there (Everyday Writer, 4th edition)
   
• Click on the tab for "e-Book", then "LOG IN NOW", and enter the email address and password you entered when you purchased the access
   
• Confirm that you are in the e-Book (not Re:Writing Plus) and browse the contents.  The more you know about what's here, the more useful this text will become!
