IMPORTANT FEE INFORMATION

The College Program for the Incarcerated student should NOT pay any fee without a billing from the CPI officeDo NOT pay any fee without first checking with the CPI office!
The fees listed in the Independent and Distance Learning Programs Catalog DO NOT INCLUDE textbooks, supplies, lesson postage, and other items that are covered by the CPI Comprehensive Fees (listed below.)

These amounts are in effect from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009. They apply to Ohio University's Independent and Distance Learning Program's courses
by CORRESPONDENCE. They cover all costs associated with registration in at least two courses, including tuition, textbooks, supplies, and lesson postage. They do NOT apply to COURSE CREDIT BY EXAMINATION (CCE). See below. |

Course
Credit by Examination (CCE) courses are billed on an itemized basis. Billing
includes $69 an hour tuition, textbooks(s), and shipping.
Single
correspondence courses ar e also billed on an itemized basis. Tuition is
$136 an hour. An average 4-hour course, including tuition, textbook(s),
s
upplies, a college-level dictionary and thesaurus (upon request), lesson
postage, and shipping, would be approximately $725.00
(for illustration onlyexact cost varies by
course).
Please note: Effective September 8, 2009, you must add $2 per credit hour for each course, not to exceed $22.00. See the table on the Bursar’s website for more information.
