WageWorks on Campus 5/8/08

A WageWorks representative will be on the Athens campus to answer questions about flexible spending accounts:
Thursday, May 8, 2008
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
First floor entrance of Baker University Center

Your flexible spending account (FSA) program, sponsored by Ohio University and brought to you by WageWorks, lets you save on health and dependent care costs. Enroll in the program, and set aside some of your pay before taxes to use on eligible expenses. You can spend it any way you like, on a wide range of needs for yourself and your family.

You can use your account for co-pays, deductibles, prescriptions, dental and vision care, and literally hundreds of over-the-counter items and everyday health care services. And with a dependent care account, you can also pay for babysitting, day care and pre-school programs, and elder care services while you’re at work. Click on the following links to view a complete listing of eligible expenses: While there are many advantages to enrolling in a Flexible Spending Account, there are also limitations. For example, any unused balances after the plan year has ended will be forfeited. Therefore, you must plan your deposits carefully.

Information regarding your annual benefits open enrollment will be distributed soon. Benefits Open Enrollment allows you to make changes to your benefit coverage including enrolling in a flexible spending account(s).
