The Ohio University Board of Trustees approved a 3% across the board annual pay increase for Classified and 3% annual raise pool for Administrative staff for Fiscal Year 2007.
Classified employees will receive an across-the-board 3% increase to their total hourly rate which will be reflected in their July 21 pay checks.
For administrators, the increase will be reflected in the July monthly pay check.
The FY07 Classified & IT Pay Structure and the A/P (Administrative & Professional) Pay Structure was also adjusted by 3%. Pay structure adjustments are made periodically to reflect inflation and labor market trends and to keep the pay plans competitive with the external market. Pay structure movement is a percentage adjustment to the pay structure itself (the hierarchy of pay ranges). It is a separate decision from the annual pay increase decision and is not necessarily an annual occurrence. This adjustment causes the minimum, midpoint (market reference point for C&IT) and maximum of each pay range to increase.
