Dear Ohio University colleague,
This is a reminder regarding the deadline for the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio early retirement incentive plan (ERIP). The last day for enrolling in the plan is Friday, June 29, 2012.
Eligible employees that intend to participate in this plan MUST sign both the STRS Notice to Employer of Intent to Participate in Retirement Incentive Plan and the Retirement Incentive/ Voluntary Employment Separation Agreement for Tenured and Tenure‐Track Faculty (Group I Faculty) OR the Retirement Incentive/Voluntary Employment Separation Agreement for non tenure‐track Faculty (Group II, III, IV Faculty) and other STRS Members. Forms must be returned to Ohio University's Human Resources department on or before Friday, June 29, 2012. Participating employees must be eligible to retire by June 30, 2012 and may choose to work through August 31, 2012 at the latest; however, the agreement must be signed and submitted to the Human Resource office on or before June 29, 2012.
