Subject: Announcing a new Impact EAP Service:Personalized Medical Guidance
Benefits Eligible Faculty and Staff,
University Human Resources is pleased to announce that beginning July 1, 2012, faculty, staff and family members enrolled in one of the university's health plans will have access to a new Impact Employee Assistance Program (EAP) service - Personalized Medical Guidance (PMG).
The new Personalized Medical Guidance service provides direct access via phone consultation to top physicians for education and guidance regarding healthcare issues for you and your family.
Personalized Medical Guidance does not replace the current relationship you have with your physician.
It does provide an additional resource for information and education regarding your health.PMG's physicians can assist you with concerns and information regarding medical diagnosis, questions regarding medical procedures and tests, medication costs and side effects, and can assist you in finding and scheduling appointments with specialists and create an action plan for you to improve your health.
Further information regarding Personalized Medical Guidance is available at: http://www.ohio.edu/hr/benefits/loader.cfm?csModule=security/getfile&PageID=2011261 and the Impact EAP web site (http://www.powerflexweb.com/1518/login.html ; enter ohiouniversity as your username under Member Login)
We are excited to offer this new service to faculty, staff and their family members. An informational session will be held at noon on July 17th in the Walter Hall Rotunda. More details regarding this session will be available next week. If you have any questions regarding the new service please contact Impact EAP toll free at 800-227-6007 or the Benefits Office in University Human Resources.
