As anticipated, the US Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) published on 3/8/13 a revised Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9. Several revisions have been incorporated including:

• New data fields, including employee’s foreign passport information, telephone and email address;
• Clarified instructions; and
• Revised layout of the form, expanding it from one to two pages.
  

We have 60 days to be in full compliance with the new form. Please begin using the new form immediately.

We will be updating our online training as soon as possible. In the meantime please refer to the six pages of instruction included with the new form.
 
We strongly recommend printing the form 2-sided (pages 7-8) to reduce the opportunity for the pages to become separated. Feel free to call Human Resources (593-1636) if you have questions about the new form. Please pass this along to anyone in your unit who may need to use this form for new hires and reverifications.
