Ohio University has designed an Outplacement Services Program to assist employees during their career transition as a result of our reduction in force. This is a voluntary program with the objective of providing the resources needed to streamline the job search process. Beginning a job search can be a daunting task for anyone in this uncertain economy. University Human Resources is committed to arming displaced employees with the tools, information and skills necessary to help with this transition.
Because of this commitment, we have partnered with Lee Hecht Harrison, a company providing expert career management services globally. Lee Hecht Harrison will engage participating employees and provide the tools and skills to help you craft a personal plan for your job search. Affected employees are strongly encouraged to take advantage of these quality services.
A Career Center will be established in the Human Resource & Training Center located at 169 West Union Street. A counselor will be on site during designated hours to assist with job searches and resume writing. Training Sessions will also be offered.
