Classified Service Awards a Success

The 36th annual classified service awards were held Friday, October 14th 2005 at Nelson Commons. Employees and their supervisors were in attendance for this informal event. Special guest speakers were Larry Corrigan, Interim Vice President for Finance and Administration and President Roderick McDavis.

Music was provided by Robin Barnes, WXTQ and door prizes were drawn throughout the afternoon. The event received rave reviews, including Rea Faught, a 25-year honoree who said, “The food was delicious and everything seemed so organized”, she went on to say, “Having President McDavis speak made the event even more special”.
