Assist Director of Employee & Labor Relations with the following:

• Administer union contracts through informal communication, grievance process and arbitration
• Participate in negotiating union contracts
• Support managers and employees in resolution of problems and enhancing relations
• Develop University's response to union organizing drives
• Research on labor laws, related case files
• Develop and present training programs for staff
• Provide a conduit for information between employees and management
• Develop/interpret policies relating to terms and conditions of work
