employee assistance program (EAP)
Ohio University's EAP and Work/Life program is offered through Impact Behavioral Healthcare Services. The EAP is available to all Ohio University employees and their family members. Participation is on a voluntary basis.
Program features include:
- Confidential 24/7 live professional assistance (1-800-227-6007)
- Unlimited provider referral assistance with issues such as: childcare, eldercare, parenting, financial & legal issues, health & wellness, emotional well-being, educational needs, daily living and much more
- Professional face-to-face counseling with priority scheduling based on your needs
- Unlimited telephone guidance, counseling, coaching and crisis intervention

Confidentiality
Participation in the Impact EAP and Work/Life Program is voluntary; the relationship between the employee and couselor is completely confidential. No information will be released without prior written consent.
Outpatient Mental Health/Substance Abuse Network
This program works in coordination with Ohio University’s EAP. Employees covered under any of the medical plans are eligible.
