The department must provide an explanation of how the coursework relates to the minimum education, training, experience or skill required for the position. This is granted on a course-by-course basis, not for entire degree programs. If the coursework is not a requirement of the employee's position, the instructional fees will be covered at 100%, but the employee will be responsible for the general fees.
