Go Green Information & Registration
The Division of Student Affairs and Residential Housing are proud to invite Ohio University community members and friends to help welcome the next generation of Bobcats to the Athens campus this coming August as part of our Go Green Team.
Go Green Move-in Team (OHIO Students)
The Go Green Move-In Team is made up of returning OHIO students. This team will help our new incoming students physically move their personal items into their residence hall rooms. The time commitment is roughly 4.5 hours each day for the 2 days of first-year student move in (August 20th and August 21st), as well as a mandatory team meeting on Tuesday, August 18th at 7 PM.
All volunteers receive a Go Green Team t-shirt and are permitted to return to their residence hall (if living on-campus) on Saturday, August 15th. In addition, student volunteers can elect to receive Bobcat Cash as our thanks for participating in the program. Each student that fulfills the requirements will receive $50.00 per shift. More information can be found in the information packet.
You can also designate a Student Organization on your registration. Based on how many students designate that organization, Residential Housing will provide between $50 and $300 of funding to the organization's university account. Student Organizations are not permitted to register as a group. All registrations need to be for an individual. More information can be found in the information packet.
