Residential Housing  

OHIO’s beautiful residential campus is a center for academic, social, cultural and recreational activities. Residential Housing strives to engage, motivate and challenge students using our mission, values and goals for guidance. The department is responsible for the administration and programming within a housing system of 42 residence halls across three residential greens that house nearly 8,000 students. We take pride in creating community and cultivating leaders across Ohio University by providing students with not only a safe and comfortable place to live, but also  a thriving and vibrant educational community.

Residential Housing is committed to implementing its seven values: health and safety, scholarship, student development, citizenship, diversity, responsible business practices and staff development in all facets of the residential experience. Professional Job Openings: Residential Housing is happy to announce that we are currently seeking applicants for Residential Coordinator and Resident Director positions. More information on these opportunities can be found here.

New Student Housing Contracts: The new student housing contract / application for students entering the university in the 2012-2013 academic year was available beginning January 9, 2012.

Room Change Process: To request a room change, visit your MyHousing page and submit a request to change rooms via the "Request a Room Change" button. Once your request is received, you will be contacted by a Residential Housing staff member within two business days to provide you with options and instructions for completing a room change.

Student Self-Service: Looking for maintenance request forms, damage billing appeal forms, or other work requests? Check out the links found under our 'Self-Service' tab for links to the forms and online systems you need most!

MyHousing:  MyHousing is the portal to your housing and dining related information. By visiting 'MyHousing,' students can view their current room assignment and meal plan, make meal plan changes and view current housing / dining charges to their account.
