Ph.D., French Literature with Minor in Linguistics: Georgetown University


Scholarly Interests 

Dr. Vines' research areas include French literature, comparative literature, French film and media, linguistics, and language and law. 

 

Selected Publications

Dr. Vines' books include Valéry and Poe, A Literary Legacy, Poe Abroad: Influence, Reputation, Affinities, and A POW’s Memoir of the First World War. She has contributed the chapter “French Media Courses for Journalism and Communications” to the textbook Modern Technologies in Foreign Language Education: Applications and Project.
