Scholarly Interests 

Current research and teaching interests include computer vision, robotics, artificial intelligence, educational game/simulation development, computer graphics, real-time computing, and the visualization of medical images. 


Selected Publications

Dr. Chelberg has published over 50 articles in professional conferences and journals, including “3D Visual Debug Monitor for Robo Cup,” in Proceedings of the IASTED International Conference on Computer Graphics and Imaging (2000), and “Preclinical ROC Studies of Digital Stereomammography” in IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging (1995). His research is being applied to areas such as mobile robotics, space satellites, and medical imaging.
