The Research Apprenticeship Program allows HTC students to participate in paid undergraduate research and creative activity with faculty members during the summer. It offers one-on-one mentorship and hands-on experience.
The PURF is a university-wide program administered by the Assistant Dean of the Honors Tutorial College. Applicants can apply for up to $1,500 from a total yearly allotment of $50,000. Students do not have to be members of the College to apply.
The Baer Prize is an award created in the memory of Herbert L. Baer, an HTC alumnus. It is a $1,000 cash prize designed to recognize excellence and achievement in multi- or trans-disciplinary thinking.
The Dean's Research and Travel Grant offers HTC students up to $1,000 for research and travel. The dean considers the student's academic standing and service to the College when awarding this grant.
