Provost's Undergraduate Research Funds
The Provost's Undergraduate Research Fund (PURF) provides awards from $100 to $1,500 to support the research and creative activity of undergraduate students on Ohio University's Athens and regional campuses. The funds may be used for direct expenses related to the conduct of research and creative activity, including supplies, materials, and travel. They also may be used to attend conferences to present research or creative activity.
Recipients of PURF awards share their research or creative project with the Ohio University community at the Research and Creative Activity Expo held in spring semester.
The annual PURF application deadline is typically at the end of September every year. The 2013-2014 deadline has passed. For other undergraduate funding options, click here.
