Enrichment Programs

Most students are drawn to the Honors Tutorial College because of the tutorial-style education and curricular flexibility. However, as we've seen time and time again, many of the most impressive things HTC students accomplish happen outside of the classroom — whether it's during an internship, study abroad program, extracurricular activity, or an opportunity they create for themselves.

Study Abroad

Every year, many HTC students choose to travel abroad to study, work, volunteer or do research. Students from all academic disciplines are encouraged to study in another country.

Campus Involvement

HTC students — though they are engaged in some of the most academically rigorous programs on campus — are some of the most involved at Ohio University and in the Athens community.

Internships and Campus Employment

Internships and part-time jobs are excellent opportunities to hone skills developed in the classroom. Many HTC students work on-campus, and the college hires work/study and PACE students to work at 35 Park Place every year.
