During Homecoming week, the Student Alumni Board (SAB) and Campus Involvement Center (CIC) will be partnering with local businesses and OHIO offices and departments to "Paint the Town Green." Show your Bobcat pride and compete for best office decorations! Award categories include:

During Homecoming week, local businesses and OHIO offices will also be collecting canned food for the Athens Food Pantry. Last year, the event collected approximately 3,500 cans but we need your help to make this year's event bigger and better than years past. Locations for collection boxes will be announced soon, so please continue to check back for more details.
The Campus Involvement Center (CIC) will kick off Homecoming week by driving OHIO golf carts around campus and delivering Bobcat Family Reunion Homecoming 2014 goodies to students, faculty, staff and alumni in OHIO golf carts. Be on the lookout from 9-11 a.m. for free coffee and from 1-3 p.m. for free treats. Celebrate OUr Bobcat Family Reunion!
Sponsored by the CIC, this recurring series will spread OHIO's Homecoming spirit with a free demonstration on how to make string art at Baker Theater Lounge. Upload a photo of your new string artwork to #TransformationTuesday.

Join the George Voinovich School Alumni Society at Jackie O's in Uptown Athens for a bite of local food, a pint of local brew and the chance to make a donation to the Athens Food Pantry. The Pantry uses cash donations to purchase local, fresh food for those in need. Can’t make it but want more information? Students can sign up to meet 11 new friends at this popular event, now in its fourth year at Ohio University. Students enjoy a dinner at Sol, a local Cuban-cuisine restaurant, hosted by distinguished alumnae Julie Keppner ’02, Chair of OUAA’s Alumni Board of Directors and VP of Digital Banking for Bank of America in Charlotte, NC and Casey Christopher ’02, who serves on the Association’s Executive Board of Directors and is first vice president at Center State Bank in Tampa, Fla. The CIC and the Student Alumni Board host this event where OHIO student orgs compete in a series of canned good collection challenges to benefit the Athens Food Pantry. The OUAA has challenged its chapters to join the effort to create food security by hosting a canned food collection-related event in their communities on October 8. Undergraduate Admissions and OUAA welcome alumni with high school juniors and seniors are invited to learn about what the next generation can do to become successful Bobcats!
