Throughout the year, many elected and staff positions on GSS become vacant and must be filled by qualified applicants. Fill out the application above and we will get back to you soon.
Many positions on GSS are elected during the previous spring election, including President, Vice President for Committees and Legislative Affairs, Vice President for Communications, Vice President for Adminstration and Finance, and all College Senators. However, some of these positions may be vacant, so check the list here to view vacancies. Other than executives and College Senators, Department Representative positions are available by appointment. Just apply, and if accepted by the executive board, GSS will vote to ratify you.

Attend GSS Meetings
All students at OU and the public are welcome to attend our meetings and sit in the audience. If you have a point that you want made you can just raise your hand or speak at the beginning of the meeting during "student speakout".
Student Speakout
If you are a current or past OU student and you would like to share information, comments, or suggestions to GSS, you are encouraged to 'speak out' to GSS. Your comments will be included in our official minutes. Speak out is held at the beginning of the meeting when the President asks the audience if there are any students present to speak out. |
