The purpose of the Travel Grant is to provide support to graduate students for travel to present original work as well as travel for professional development workshops and seminars.

The travel grant is intended to further graduate education through participation in seminars and conferences and foster professional development to further students’ careers. The grant attempts to cover majority of the costs associated with such travel.

The travel grant can be used to fund any local, national or international travel as long as the purpose of the intended travel is to present original work or for professional development. Additionally, the grant can be used to fund travel that is intended to further the professional development of an applicant in the form of workshops or seminars.
