ETDs are viewed as a way to allow students and universities to gain greater access to research documents and to obtain cost savings and flexibility. At Ohio University, all documents filed electronically can be found at www.ohiolink.edu/etd and also through ALICE the online database provided by Alden Library. All dissertations in paper and electronic form are submitted electronically to Proquest (Dissertation Abstracts) for online viewing. All theses and dissertations (in paper and electronic) are processed through TAD Services.
