2009 Graduate Student Orientation

10 – 12PM: Opening Session
Baker Center, Ball Room
Topics: Dean’s Welcome, General information about being a graduate student, academic integrity, Involvement outside the classroom
12 - 1PM: Lunch on Your Own
1PM - 3:20PM: Information Sessions
Baker Center, Multiple Conference Rooms

- 40 minute sessions, conducted concurrently
- Topics: Health insurance, Hudson Health services, Counseling Services, Information Technology, Blackboard, Library Services, Ohio State Residency, Electronic Thesis and Dissertation Services, Research and Research Ethics.
- Payroll, Graduate College representatives will be present to help students complete employment paperwork (for those working for the university)
Please plan to get your student ID card at the Tech Depot Office (1st floor, Baker Center) from 8AM – 5PM Mon-Fri.
