About GERB
The Graduate Education and Research Board (GERB) was created in January 2006 to develop and implement a process to prioritize specific research/creative activity initiatives to recommend to the President and Provost for strategic investment of central funds consistent with the Graduate Education and Research Academic Priorities established in Vision Ohio. In May 2006, the Board announced its first request for proposals to support major program initiatives in graduate education and research. These proposals were due to the appropriate college dean by November 17, 2006.
In October, the Board announced two new RFPs - The Future Growth Fund and the Graduate Program Enhancement Fund. These proposals were due to the appropriate college dean by November 22, 2006.
